Mailchimp Definition

Definition: Starting off as website design shop based in Atlanta led by Ben Chestnut and Dan Kurzias, under the leadership of COO Neil Bainton, the company pivoted to purely a mass email sending company. Mailchimp pioneered what is now known as product-led growth as a go to market strategy.

The company quickly became the leader over legacy competitor Constant Contact.

Mailchimp is frequently part of a SalesForce marketing stack but is redundant to HubSpot’s email tool within Marketing Hub.

Use It In a Sentence: Only 5% of our newsletter subscribers in Mailchimp open our emails. Maybe our headlines suck?
